Weight Training for Softball Players

There are 3 phases or types of weight training for Softball players:
1.  Development of Stability and Muscular Endurance - 2 to 3 sets of 12 to 20 reps
2.  Development of General Strength - 2 to 3 sets of 8 to 12 reps
3.  Development of Maximum Strength - 3 to 4 sets of 4 to 8 reps

Proper form for the Clean and Press - Exercise for Maximum Strength

Proper form for the Dead Lift - Can be done with dumbbell like below or barbell.

 

 

Stability Ball Crunches

 

Proper form for the Squat - Can be done with dumbbell like below or barbell
